About Loa

Loa comes from a dance background, having studied at the Royal Swedish Ballet School and the Peter Schaufuss Ballet. At age 12 she had her first Pilates and Gyrotonic classes and has loved them ever since! In 2011 she moved to London from Copenhagen to train in Pilates, Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis. Soon after arriving in London, she began training with James D’Silva and fell in love with his method. She has taken the Garuda Matwork and Garuda Apparatus courses multiple times and regularly takes part in various workshops and development courses. She believes that her on-going desire to improve and expand her knowledge base is beneficial to all of her clients. Loa especially enjoys working with teenagers, to assist them in developing their own love for movement. She has been teaching Garuda courses for the past 8 years and is currently one of the UK's Master trainers.
